The first reception of the conference is a welcome opportunity to engage with delegates, EDCO Board and Committee members and connect with old and new colleagues and friends. The conference theme Get Your Game on #EDCO2020 gets off to a great start at the Hockey Hall of Fame which has the finest collection of hockey artifacts from around the world!
A shuttle bus from the hotel to the Hockey Hall of Fame will be provided for delegates.

Showcase Area
The Conference Showcase hosts vendors exhibiting a wide range of new and innovative tools, products and services related to economic development. Source the tools you need to succeed and grow while solidifying business connections. Refreshment breaks, draws, games and other entertainment will make the Showcase area a great place to network.

Located near the registration desk, this is the place to settle in to a comfortable chair, take some time to relax, catch up on work or have informal discussions with other delegates. Feast On Reception

One of the Conference’s most popular receptions, Feast On highlights hand-picked, local suppliers eager to showcase their unique food and beverage products. It’s an educational taste experience that delegates look forward to every year. At stations around the Showcase area delegates can sample Ontario wine and beer, unique cocktails and savour a variety of foods and taste sensations.

Join us in the Grand Ballroom foyer for drinks and appetizers. Have your picture taken with friends and colleagues at our photo booth where you can pose as a “team” for your favourite sport.
The President’s Dinner and the much anticipated Awards of Excellence follows. Industry leaders will be honoured and awards in a number of economic development categories will be presented. Entertainment will be provided by emcee Darrin Rose, a well known comedian and peformer.
